UPDATE: Kiosks Again Accepting Credit Card Payment for Parking
After correcting a wireless transmission problem that did not allow kiosks to accept credit card payment for parking, PPA Director Vince Fenerty announced that “kiosks are again accepting credit card payments for parking, as well as accepting all other forms of payment including cash and payment via the PPA’s new pay-by-phone app meterUP.”
Earlier Fenerty advised motorists that “there will be a fifteen minute grace period from the time a ticket is issued to allow customers time to get cash to pay the kiosk.”
For any customer ticketed within the fifteen minute grace period, during the period credit cards were not accepted, contact PPA customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the City’s Parking Violations Branch at 1-888-591-3636. They will be given instructions on how to submit the original kiosk receipt to document their payment.
“We want to apologize for any inconvenience caused by this wireless transmission interruption,” Fenerty said.
