Where To Park For Waterfront Winterfest
The Blue Cross RiverRink is always a stop on our seasonal tour de Philly but this year, the gang at the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation has gone all-out with their cold-weather programming. And we couldn’t be more excited!
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Blue Cross RiverRink, they’re launching Waterfront Winterfest, a pop-up festival featuring holiday cocktails, local beers and snacks by Chef George Sabatino —all served under an enormous 400-person warming tent. You can also peep a hip new light show designed by Ricardo Rivera of Klip Collective, whose latest installation was at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. (Move over, Macy’s!) Shoppers can peruse the Art Star Holiday Market—a cool new version of the uber-popular spring arts and crafts festival—to pick up last-minute gifts. And, of course, you can take a spin around the Olympic-sized ice rink.
You can check on the Waterfront Winterfest from November 29 through January 1.
