Where to Park for the 2014 Dad Vail Regatta!
More than 100 universities from the U.S. and Canada will gather on May 9, 2014 and May 10, 2014 at Boathouse Row for the annual Dad Vail Regatta. It’s hailed as the largest intercollegiate rowing event in the United States and continuously adds to Philadelphia’s vast culture and history!
The Dad Vail Regatta has run continuously since 1934 with the exclusion of WWII years. In 1953, the race’s permanent home became Philadelphia and it’s been that way ever since. Starting with only seven collegiate competitors, the Dad Vail Regatta now includes more than 120 from universities across North America. Click here for more information on the Dad Vail Regatta.
Each year the regatta brings thousands of spectators to our area. Planning ahead is key—especially for people who plan to drive to the event. Kelly Drive can become very congested and parking can be tough!
We recommend parking at our lot at 19th and Callowhill Streets, where you can park hassle-free on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy your day at the races.
