NOTICE OF TAXI RATE CHANGE

Notice to All CPC Holders, Concerning Applications for new Limousine Service - See Postings below for details on July 22, 2008

TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS OF TAXI SERVICE IN THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA:

The Philadelphia Parking Authority Board has approved a .50 cent fuel surcharge which will become effective at 12:01 AM on Monday June 2, 2008 for all taxicabs with point to point service rights in the City of Philadelphia.

“Partial Rights” taxis must have their meters re-calibrated to reflect the new rates in order to serve the Philadelphia portion of their territories prior to June 2nd.

The new Philadelphia Taxi Tariff as of June 2, 2008 is as follows:

Flag Drop - $2.70
Gas Surcharge - $.50 (Automatically reflected on meter 10-15 seconds after flagdrop in “Extra” field)

Charge Per Mile - $2.30

Waiting Time $22.00 per hour

Airport Flat Rate $28.50
Note: An additional $1.00 per passenger ($3.00 maximum) after the first passenger will be charged on flat rate trips between the Airport and Center City for those passengers over the age of 12.
